Race Car Swap is a peer-to-peer marketplace for used racing parts and equipment. To help keep transactions smooth and fair, this Buyer Protection policy explains how payments, delivery, cancellations, and item-condition issues are handled on our platform. This policy works together with our Terms & Conditions.

How payments work: Payments are processed via Stripe. Funds are held in escrow and are released when you click Mark as Received. For tracked shipments, funds may auto-release within 72 hours after the carrier shows Delivered if you take no action. For Local Pickup, there is no carrier tracking; please click Mark as Received after pickup.

Important: Please inspect items promptly. If there is a problem, you must report it within 72 hours of delivery or pickup. After that—or once you click Mark as Received—the order is generally non-refundable.

Resolutions We May Offer

Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

Card-issuer disputes and chargebacks are handled through Stripe’s process. If a chargeback is filed, our internal review pauses while Stripe and the issuing bank investigate. You may be asked for additional documentation.

Fraud, Abuse, and Safety

We may limit or suspend accounts, withhold payouts, or cancel transactions where fraud, abuse, or policy violations are suspected.
