Welcome to Race Car Swap — a marketplace built by racers for racers. This guide helps you find the right parts, buy confidently, and know what to expect after you order.

1) Finding What You Need

Search & Filters

Browse by Discipline, Category, and Subcategory to narrow results.
Use specific keywords: part numbers, chassis/engine families, manufacturer names.
Try synonyms (e.g., “control arm” vs “A-arm”).

Evaluating Listings

Read the full description — dimensions, condition notes, included hardware.
Open all photos; look for wear, repairs, or modifications.
Check seller location (state) and shipping cost.

2) Ask Questions Before You Buy

Not sure about fitment or condition? Ask the seller before purchasing. Clarify compatibility, included parts, and shipping timing.

3) Checkout & Payment

Secure checkout is processed by Stripe. We don’t store card numbers.
Confirm your shipping address and billing details before paying.
Sales tax is calculated automatically when applicable.
For eligible orders over $250, you may see Affirm (Buy Now, Pay Later) as a payment option at checkout.

4) After You Order

Tracking: You’ll receive carrier + tracking when the seller ships.
Delivery: Inspect the item right away.
Release payment: Click Mark as Received if everything looks good, or funds auto-release 72 hours after Delivered.

5) If There’s an Issue

This is a used-item marketplace. Returns are only available for verified issue orders (e.g., wrong item, significant undisclosed damage, not received). We do not accept returns for items that match the listing description and condition.

Report within 72 hours of delivery with photos/video of the item, packaging, and label.
Outcomes may include a partial refund (you keep the item) or a return-for-refund. See Buyer Protection.
